Oreo Puppy Chow Ingredients
Oreos: grab a package of your favorite Oreos, whether its the thin ones, regular ones, or double stuffed. Any of them will do
Rice Chex Cereal: rice chex is the perfect cereal to balance all the sweetness you will be adding to it
Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips: semi sweet provides just the right sweetness for your puppy chow mix
Peanut Butter: feel free to use any kind of peanut butter you want, organic, regular or even crunchy if you want a little but more peanut added to your puppy chow
Powdered Sugar: powdered sugar coats the entire mixture, allowing for a less messy snack.
Tips for Making This Recipe
Here a few tips for making this the best puppy chow:
- Don’t crush your Oreos too small. You want bigger pieces so you have some pieces to munch on and they blend in nicely with the Chex mix.
- Make sure your puppy chow is COMPLETELY covered with your chocolate. Keep mixing and turning it to ensure every inch of that mix is covered in your chocolate mixture.
- If you are not happy with the amount of powdered sugar on your puppy chow, you can always add more or even put less on. It’s a preference, so put as much or as little as you want on it!
